To live a healthy life, a person needs at least 8 hours of sleep at night. What are the things that should be kept in mind while designing bedroom for better night's sleep?





In today's run-of-the-mill life and present Covid-19 situation, every person has some or the other problem and this problem also give trouble to the person to some extent. In such a situation, if a person does not get good sleep at night, then the problem can increase because not getting sleep is like feasting on many diseases. To get good sleep, it is very important to have a good environment in your home or bedroom. If some things are taken care of while decorating the bedroom, then our sleep can also be better than that. How? I am going to tell you that such things should be taken care of so that we can sleep well.


1. Keep The Room Darker

It is very important that bedroom should be darker. The absence of light sends an important message to our body that it is time to sleep. This signal helps to initiate the body's physical preparation for sleep. In such a situation, if there is even a little light in the room, then it can disturb sleep. Therefore, it is necessary to put such dark shade curtains in all the places in the room it should also be installed in such a way that it is capable of blocking any kind of light. At the same time, the color combination of the room should be darker also. If you find it difficult to go to the washroom at night due to excessive darkness, then you can use the red light of zero vaults.


2. Color Combination

If you are thinking that I would love to paint the color I like, then it will be a big mistake for you because sleep is closely related to the color combination of the bedroom. Colors affect your mood. The combination of such colors as blue, yellow, green, silver gives coolness to the eyes. That's why it is important to use such color which can lead to good sleep. Whatever color you choose, use lighter, pastel or muted shades of color. Earth or skin-based tones are calming, and promote positive energy flow. Colors like red purple brown orange are flamboyant and generate energy that can disturb your sleep.


3. Clutter

As we all know that the human body needs at least 8 hours of sleep. Normally you come to your bedroom for sleep at 10 o'clock in the night and try to sleep but you do not sleep for a long time. If you think that I have a sleep disorder and you use medicine for this, then I would like to share that some changes in the bedroom can also give you good sleep and for this you do not need medicine at all. Bedroom is a place, where we sleep, we take ourselves and our worries of the day to bed. Messy bedroom affects sleep to a great extent and that is why it is very important that all the things kept in the bedroom should be properly organized. For this, wardrobe should be designed in such a way that all the items kept in the room should be stored properly. At the same time, it is also advisable to have a storage bed where we can store our less needed items.


4. Install Plants In Bedroom

Plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen which is necessary for humans to breathe and we all know this very well. But most plants release oxygen during the day and give carbon dioxide at night. There are also some plants that give oxygen at night like Aloe Vera, Snake plant etc. Planting similar plants in the bedroom can boost your mood, enhance your creativity, reduce your stress level and help you sleep better. The nature of house plants also has a calming effect, which is very good for your sleep.



5. Mattress

The roll of mattresses is considered very important for sleep because all the weight of our body is on it while sleeping. In such a situation, if the mattress is not comfortable then it can cause harm to our body. It also depends the way of sleeping to some extent. If the mattresses are not good and have become defective due to being old, then it is suggested to replace them immediately. Although no such concrete evidence has been found till date, which tells that by using mattresses, you can get good rest or sleep, but it is a common thing that the height and material of the mattress should be such that our body should feel comfortable.
